Project 320 5K Walk & Run

Antietam Battlefield, Sharpsburg, MD
Saturday May, 29, 2010

All proceeds will benefit Living Water Internation, they exist to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water.

REGISTRATION begins at 7:00a.m. and 5K run/walk begins at 8:30a.m. Registration will be located near the visitor center at Antietam Battlefi eld in Sharpsburg, MD.

ADULT 5K run/walk
COST $20 before 5-17-10; $25 after 5-17-10
Open registration on race day is $25.

(1K FUN RUN) race for children 12yrs old and under. Th ose pre-registered before race day will receive a t-shirt. 1K Fun Run begins at 9:30a.m.
COST $10.00

TSHIRTS All Participants pre-registered by May 17, 2010 will receive a short-sleeve t-shirt.

5K AWARDS 1st Place-$100, 2nd Place-$75, 3rd Place-$50, cash prizes for both men’s and women’s overall fi nishers. Top 2 fi nishers of each age group will receive medals. Based on a necessary minimum attendance.

2010 ANNUAL SPORTS DINNER

Monday, June 7th, 2010 at 6:00 pm
Tri-State Fellowship, Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland
Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be obtained through any of the League’s Team Coaches, Weeknights at the Fairgrounds Concession Stand or M-F at Kamelot Florist.

Completed 2009 Events:

  • 5K Run:  The 5K Run on Saturday, June 13, 8:30 AM at Hagerstown Municipal Stadium was a great success.  Click here for race results and Click here for some great photos (Be sure to double click on the photo to enlarge it.)  Thank you to all who participated in the race and helped with this annual event to raise money for placing additional stadium lights at ball fields at the Hagerstown Fairgrounds.
  • Annual Sports Dinner held on June 15th at 6:00 PM at Tri-state Fellowship was a wonderful ocaission. Our guest speakers were Luke Scott and Scott McGregor from the Baltimore Orioles.  Click here for a message from the League's President.
  • 3rd Annual Golf Tournament  On Monday, May 11th the League held it's annual tournament at the Black Rock Golf Course.  This year’s tournament was a GREAT really great. “Thank you” to all of the people who either played or in some way contributed to it’s success.   The tournament winners were:

2nd Place: Brian Lantz, Darrin Sweeney, Chris Brunner

3rd place: Jack Hill, Kevin Hartman, John Hill, B. Snow

  • Basket Bingo: Sunday, May 3rd.  Thanks to all who attended or advertised this event.  We made about $4,000 to be used for lights and upkeep at the fairground!
