Dustin is a 16 year-old student at Williamsport...

I spoke with Penny last night and she said that Dustin needs to have an additional 2” of tissue removed around the area to see if they got it all , the cancer doctor wants Dustin to take a few radiation treatments to kill anything cells that’s left, there insurance doesn’t cover the treatments. The treatments run about $1,000.00 each the hospital may give them a reduced rate because of their income if they apply.

Ivan Miller Update. Ivan was hit in the face with a ball during our game the last other night. This resulted in a cut over his eye and severe swelling of the area of his face around his left eye. His cut required stitches and testing done at the hospital indicated that he had no apparent serious injury -PRAISE GOD!!! I ask for the league to pray for God's healing touch and mercy filled recovery for Ivan.

I may be going down soon (Florida) to be of assistance for my Mom. I don't know more than this yet. Pray for healing and God's will to be done.

I went over and saw Ryan "Pap" Hunsberger yesterday. He seems to be doing pretty good. He's still very sore. This pacemaker is considerably bigger than the first one. For now, you can see exactly where it is sitting, because it is bumped out on his chest. Hopefully, it will sink back, just like the other one did, and you won't be able to see it. Some of it, though, is swelling around the area. He is able to move his left arm more now, which is good. He isn't able to do too much movement from his shoulder, but he's able to bend and straighten his elbow without too much pain. He sees the doctor on Thursday. Please continue to pray for him.

We are very saddened to report that Tony Giradelli, at the age of 39, and a former player from St. Joe's, has passed away. Tony had been ill for over a year, and never recovered. Please pray for the Giradelli family, especially his two young daughters Angela and Gianna, as they mourn their loved one -- and PRAISE GOD THAT THER IS RESSURECTION FOR ALL BELIEVERS! Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9pm at Minnich Funeral Home (on Wilson Blvd). Funeral service will be at St. Joe's on Friday at 10am. You may remember that Tony was a roofer, who worked job to job to keep food on the table. In lieu of flowers, the funeral home is accepting donations to defray funeral expenses. If you would like to contribute towards the funeral expenses, the League will be collecting money at the Concession Stand.

Please pray for my brother in law, Ryan Hunsberger of Five Forks. 5 years ago, at the age of 21, Ryan had a pacemaker put in, due to a heart condition that he has. During a recent check up, it was discovered that the pacemaker is doing damage to his heart, and it may have to be replaced with a different type. I ask that you join our family's prayer that God will heal his heart, so that no pacemaker is necessary. Also, please pray for his wife and their 2 year old son, that they would have peace through this time.

Here is an update on how little Chris Lewis from Tri-State Church is doing: He had brain surgery on Friday to remove a portion of the tumor and to put in a shunt and pic-line. The surgery was a very long one, but he came out of anethesia just fine and not at all as a happy camper. But that is good news, because he is alive and kicking! I talked with his mom, Judi, this morning. She has a specific prayer request that he can get rid of an infection he is fighting (the infection predated the surgery). Chris will be in PICU for another day and then will be transferred back to the 4th floor of the Children\'s Center. Cards can be sent to: Chris Lewis, Fourth floor, Johns Hopkins Children\'s Center, 600 North Wolfe Street Baltimore, MD 21287. IIf you are interested in visiting Chris, you are very welcome to do so. But please coordinate your visit through Dana Hadigian. You can reach dana at hadigian@verizon.net or 301-790-1165. Thank you for your continued prayers and concern for Chris,
Beth Ostoich for the Lewis family

THANK YOU to everyone who made the sports dinner possible. A great night of fellowship with all teams. Scott McGregor and Luke Scott were great. THANK GOD for a night like this. We should all be proud for a league that steps up for Jesus Christ to make him known.
